Session FAQ
Where will our sessions take place?
We shoot at a location of your choosing which can be done anywhere and I can always offer some places that would work best as well. I also travel outside Huntington and Allen county for a fee.
What should we wear for our session?
Choose outfits that make you feel comfortable and confident. Solid colors and simple patterns usually work best. Avoid logos, anything with writing or busy prints that can distract from you.
How long does it take to get our photos?
Your online gallery will be available 3 weeks after the session. If season is at it's peak, gallery time turn around could be 5-6 weeks. You will also be able to download your photos straight from the gallery once your photos are available.
Can I bring props or pets?
Absolutely! Props and pets that add to your story are always welcome. The more unique that makes you, the better. Cosplayers also are welcomed!
What if the weather is bad?
If the weather isn’t ideal on the day of your outdoor session, we can absolutely reschedule. But if it’s something like light rain without thunder or lightning, we can embrace the moment and create something magical with a rainy-day photoshoot!
Can I request specific shots, poses or if i don't wanna pose?
Definitely! I encourage you to share any ideas or inspirations so we can make your vision come to life.
Also you also don't have to pose. I help guide you with prompts and let everything unfold naturally and snap the unexpected moments you never knew could be captured on camera(Which happen to be my favorite).
Can I see the unedited photos?
I totally understand the curiosity, but I only deliver fully edited images that reflect the final look and quality of my work. Each photo you receive is carefully selected and edited with intention to ensure consistency and artistry throughout your gallery.
How many photos are included in our gallery?
I’m dedicated to capturing as many meaningful moments as possible, so there’s no limit to the number of photos you’ll receive. For mini sessions, you can look forward to receiving at least 10 sometimes more carefully crafted images, and the signature session includes over 20 or more beautiful, heartfelt shots to cherish and the Storytelling Experience delivers 40 or more timeless images that truly bring your story to life.

I’ll deliver your photos through a secure online gallery with unlimited downloads. You can choose to add a password, making it easy to share with friends and guests. Plus, you and your partner can select which images are private just for you, and which ones your friends and guests can see.
Do you travel?
Absolutely! I’m happy to travel to your location to capture your special moments wherever they may be. For travel outside of Allen and Huntington counties, there is a small fee of $0.50 per mile. If you’re interested in travel outside the state, we can discuss the expenses and details to find what works best for you.
How many photos are included in our gallery?
I truly care about capturing every special moment. I can’t ever bring myself to limit the memories you receive — each smile, glance, and laugh matters, and I want you to have it all. You can usually expect around 100 heartfelt images per hour, sometimes even more with the best ones being selected upon final editing. Your gallery will be thoughtfully crafted with a warm mix of earthy vibrant color and timeless black-and-white photos, preserving the feelings behind each memory.
What’s the delivery process for our images?
I’ll deliver your photos through a secure online gallery with unlimited downloads. You can choose to add a password, making it easy to share with friends and guests. First, you and your partner will receive the gallery to review and select which images remain private and which can be shared. Once you give the okay, the gallery will then be made available to your friends and guests.
Are engagement photos part of your services?
Absolutely! Engagement sessions are available as 45, or 60 minutes. Plus, if you book your wedding with me, an engagement session is included!
Will we get a small preview before the full gallery is ready?
Yes! I want you to have beautiful, high-quality photos to share with friends and family while you wait for your full gallery. I’ll send you a sneak peek within 72 hours of your wedding day.
When can we expect to receive our gallery?
Your gallery will be ready and delivered to you approximately 6 weeks following your wedding day.
How far in advance should we book you?
One of the best parts of my booking process is its flexibility! Even if you pick your coverage hours well in advance—like a year before your wedding—you’re free to make changes. As your wedding day approaches and we start planning your schedule together, you can easily update the amount of coverage to suit your needs perfectly whether that be for more or less hours!
What's the booking process?
Once you've contacted me, we’ve discussed all the details and you’re ready to move forward, a 25% retainer fee will be required to secure your date. At that time, a contract will also need to be signed to ensure protection for both of us.
Do you travel for weddings?
Yes, I do travel! There’s a $0.50 per mile fee for locations outside Allen and Huntington counties. For travel beyond the state, we can discuss the expenses and find an arrangement that works for you.
